This is a quick blog post to say we have a new website! It's more user friendly and quicker to load too! You can see our new website at https://truckincrazyvtc.co.uk/
Stay Safe, Control The Virus, Save Lives. Luke CrazyGaming8743 The God

Welcome back to our VTC News. I hope the people reading this are safe and well during the global pandemic. Our VTC management has taken the time to plan and make changes to the VTC, and a lot has or is due to be changed in our VTC. So we start with
Our new, elite and shiny ATS Division! Yes, your eyes have read that correctly. We are introducing an ATS division inside our VTC. This means our VTC can keep the wheels turning even in a different timezone! This elite division will be housed inside our main Discord guild which means there is no faffing about switching and joining servers etc. This is a major change for our VTC as it means existing roles are either being changed, swapped or completely removed to make it fair for both divisions. As our ATS Division is slowly being rolled out we will have more updates being delivered in our next VTC news post. Moving on from our ATS division, onto our Discord Changes. Our server guests have got a new doormat and a new Guest Zone, so they don’t just join in and step right into verification. (They also have new door handles, don’t tell them as they won’t notice!) Next on the Guild change-log is our roles and role colours. Each role has a new coat of shiny paint, so it’s better for the things you are using to read this very news post. We have also renamed and changed some roles around. For example our “Company Admin” is now our “Head of Operations” and “Community Members” has been renamed to “Verified.” Very slight changes but worth noting. We have also washed the windows, mowed the lawn and planted a few plants. During the pandemic, I am taking the time to focus on my website development business, this means that I won’t be active as much in-game. This pandemic should be used wisely, spend time with family, be creative, do things that are going to help you in your future, (Not forgetting to do your schoolwork!) I have taken the time to get myself a diploma in web development, a digging and removals job, and built an outdoor office/unit. So no biggy. Enough bragging about what I have done, as I don’t like to blow my own trumpet. What I’m trying to say is don’t spend the pandemic wasting your life away in front of a screen when there is potential for you to do other better and greater things. Stay Safe, Stay Alert, Protect The NHS. Luke CrazyGaming8743 Chief Disruptor Well what a start to a month it's been. News has been put on hold as I have been focusing on our new Multisite.
Our Multisite has had some much needed TLC. A new release of it’s build will be coming soon to the public packed with; - A FAQ (Frequently asked questions) page for those questions that are asked frequently - A new and funky help-desk system. - A new Meet The Team page Bugs that have been patched ; - Login error bug has now been patched - Register system activate account feature fixed - Buttons and redirects should no longer teleport you to the void - Speling and grammammamar errors have been fixed. - Found images and icons playing hide and seek. I won :) And a lot more behind the scenes changes to make the experience better. Upcoming ideas and implementations: - Drivers hub - Applications and data sent over to Staff zone - News page - User report system - Server downtime page and live status - External site for external game And more! We are looking forward to releasing our upcoming updates, keep an eye out for the news about that. *Truckin’ Crazy* **Truck ‘till you can’t truck no more* Well what a month it’s been, multiple development streams have been going on showing the world (what the owner thinks) the work that has gone into making our new Multisite. It’s now running on 0.3 of its build! We have named it Multisite because it’s a site of multiple things. A new public area has been implemented so members can post suggestions in the VTC without needing to be a member of the VTC. You can also view our company colours in our new Gallery (still in beta.)
Our VTC has been racking up the miles with jobs, feeding over 400 jobs, over 165,000 miles and over 75,000 tonnes moved. A Massive well done to the VTC drivers. Speaking of drivers we have introduced a driver ranking system. It’s currently still being worked on but the roles are ready to claim. At the time of publishing this there is no current reward for earning these ranks. Moving back onto our Multisite, we skipped announcing version 0.2 as it was bug fixes and admin area improvements so nothing interesting. Just in case you were wondering. We are looking forward to the coming months, with top secret things planned for the VTC. More on that later! For the people reading this, I wish you all a safe and happy return to school/college/work etc. CrazyG The God That's right, Truckin' Crazy is expanding its VTC news into its TruckersMP news profile! We haven’t used the TruckersMP VTC system that much but now all of our news from here will be sent to our TruckersMP VTC page! How exciting.
We are also happy to announce that our Members Area is (In an echoey dramatic presenters voice) MOBILE-FRIENDLY So yes……. Moving swiftly on, the member's area will be completed soon equipped with; - An Event Request System - Global Log Book - VTC news page - Fully Functioning Admin Area for staff - A help desk with a ticket system (Possibly) - A gallery for our VTC colours And a cab full more but that remains a secret! We have already released our Beta website but please remember it’s beta. Bugs will be present! If you want to see our new members area you can go here: truckincrazyvtc.rf.gd/Home/index.html Happy Truckin’ CrazyG The God For a VTC that was setup in a week some systems and the way things are doesn’t cut the mustard. As our VTC has grown in members these systems are being pushed to their limits. So we are deciding to have a couple of changes in the VTC.
Let’s start with our Job logging system. As you know there were plans of us having our own custom job logging system. Well plans have changed and we are using VTlog and their services to send our drivers jobs to our main server. (Not going into to much technical jargon.) VTlog is what our company will be using from 2020 onwards as it’s a lot more reliable and easy to use than TrucksBook (our current job logging service.) More updates on that in future blogs of how to get you started! As you may know we have recently had a paint job transfer. This means our website images and logos will be changing as more photos come in during the first few months of 2020. During times the website maybe unavailable as we will be working on the server side of our website optimising speed and response times. But that’s for us to worry about. Another things that’s changing throughout 2020 is how long I will be online for. The reason why is because at the start of 2019 (April) I was accepted onto a project to help build a school in the poorest regions of Nepal (Where Mount Everest is.) For me to go on this 2 week life changing trip I need to fundraiser £3,600 by October 2020 (24th not being precise) and it ain’t going to do it by itself. Upper management will be at hand to sort out issues whilst I can’t. I wish you all a happy new year and Happy Truckin’ CrazyG The God Well hasn’t 2019 flown by, For a VTC that started this summer, we are doing pretty well. Anyway, the point of this post is to tell you about the plans for our members area.
We are hoping to get our members area completed at some point in 2020 but with only the owner working on it, we don’t have an exact time. We are hoping to have it fully equipped with a Job logging system. Member verification, fully functional admin area, global job logbook, automatic job logger app with dispatch feature (No promises) member suggestion system, online ticket and help desk. And a cab full more! Whilst the member’s area is being worked on so is our Website. We now have our own members page with all the Truckin’ Crazy members, Management to Driver! You can have a look at Meet The VTC. Have a great new year and Happy Truckin’ CrazyG As we move into Christmas and the New Year we thought we would have a clean up and finish on the undeveloped areas of the VTC. Our paint job department was particularly dusty and we decided to clean it up.
